Originally, Thomas 'TK' (Private Eye) Kopp and myself (The Bounty Hunter) reached out and bumped into each other on an AF site. We banded together, he in Texas and me in Florida, and through the use of Free People Search Engines, and old orders, promotion
lists and reporting official lists, hit the phones and began finding folks like us that served with the 6214th Security Police Squadron, at Tainan AB in the 70's. Eventually Alan 'Tiny' (The Dungeon Master/ Florida) and Roger 'Treb' (Wisconsin) Trzebiatowski assisted in the search. Tainan AB Taiwan was created by Laurence Hoban (also a 6214th Cop), but he left along with about 8 other cops. (I guess they did not want to share the site with others not Cops). Treb and myself, Tainan Admins, agreed to open the site up, even though it is still a Closed FB Site. We accept Veteran's of Taiwan, circa 1952-1979, all branches, all squadrons and their dependents that went to American Schools, such as JM Wainwright (Tainan), Morrison Academy (Taichung) and Taipei. Alan 'Tiny' Auld created 6214th Security Police exclusive for Security and LE Police at Tainan. There are a few Tainan Locals accepted, but they were brought aboard by the Admins for a reason, and were accepted by the group. Admins check the veracity of a Veterans claim to their Taiwan Service record. We do have Pastors in the group. And they are allowed their evocations and devotional messages and discourse. Lastly any POLITICAL missives are not allowed and any discord or foul language will not be tolerated and member will be banned.
