**BIDDING**

Bids can be increased at whatever rate you like! If it's two cents, twenty cents, or two dollars, you are free to bid however much you like.

Please be fair. Only bid if you intend to buy the item/product. Please *DO NOT* delete your bid once it has been placed because this is not fair to the other bidders and the seller (and this is how you get banned).

At the end of the auction, the seller and the bidder shall contact one another. The seller has the option to offer the item to the next highest bidder or repost the item up for auction if the bidder has not made contact with the seller in 24 hours.

In the event of a bid that is tied at the end of the auctions closing minute, the first bidder during the last minute will be declared the winner. (ex. Auction closes at 6:01pm -- Bill bids $5.00 first and Emily bids $5.00 after Bill and no other bids were placed, Bill will win).

**SELLING**

When posting your item post a description, condition of the item, minimum bid that you are willing to accept, and closing date/time as close as possible to the 24 hour mark of when you initially posted your item (ex. Friday 8:30pm).

Each item will have a 24 hour auction time, you can also do 6 or 12 hour bumps. Sellers are allowed to "bump" their auction once during the 24 hour period.

If there is a time/bid discrepency, please tag an admin. Admin will declare the winner and if there is any hassle to an admin regarding this issue. (sorry, if it shows a different time on your phone/iPad but admin will go by what we see!).

Once the auction is over, an admin can post that the auction is closed and it is up to the buyer/seller to contact each other to make arrangements. If admin did not "close" the auction after it is over, please feel free to do so yourself.

If the item is not picked up, the seller has the right to sell to the next highest bidder or post it back up for auction.

Once the bidder has picked their item, please delete your own post. If the post is still up within 3 days of the closing date of the auction, admin will automatically delete it. If your item closes without a bid, admin will automatically delete it. Please feel free to repost it.

Please do not post any type of alcohol for auction.

If you are located outside of Strathmore, please put location in your description and also if you are willing to deliver the item within Strathmore.

Home business items can be listed but no advertising or mention that you sell for a certain home business is allowed.

DO NOT post any type of weapons (includes ANY type of gun, sword, arrow, etc), alcohol, or animals for auction.

*DO NOT post any "looking for.." ads*
