For those who want a lot of well organized research on the JMT, the JohnMuirTrail Yahoo Group, which has over 1800 members has perhaps the most exhaustive research (file folders, link folders, databases, archived messages) on doing the JMT. Consider joining this resource (only members can download files and post messages, links are visible to the general public). The lead moderator of this group (me), the co-moderator (John Ladd), and one or more of the assistant moderators are members of this facebook group.
