Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band, under the direction of Mr. Johnson, is the second performing band and is comprised of mostly 8th and 9th grade students. The Symphonic Band is required by Texas UIL regulations to play Grade I and II music off of the TMEA prescribed music list. This band also provides the same opportunities for performance as the Wind Ensemble. Students in this band are encouraged to participate in solo and ensemble as well as other district competitions.
