For all us lucky people that belong to one of Laraine Smith's Slimming World groups to advertise any clothes that they have slimmed out of and wish to sell/swap/give away to any other members.
This group is set up independently from Laraine, so it is up to us members to make arrangements with each other if we see an item we're interested in.
Think of this group as ebay without the postage and packaging or freecycle between friends.
How it works:
Please upload photo's of your clothes with a brief description including size, make, condition and price if applicable. Where possible, please upload in albums. It will make it easier for you the seller to manage when searching for your items.
Once someone has agreed to purchase an item/s, please could the seller place in a carrier bag clearly labelled who the item/s are for, the price and the sellers name.
The buyer needs to put the correct money in an envelope stating who it is to go to, the amount and the buyer's name.
Please take items sold/money along to your next group unless you are able to make arrangement to pick up at a mutually convenient group.
Once goods/money has been exchanged, please could sellers go through their photo's and delete any items that have been sold. For those not sure how to, click on the photo, then in the top right hand corner next to the x there is a little cog and a drop down box, click on this and then select remove photo.
Please could we try and minimise the amount of time Laraine and the support staff are spending on dealing with the shop so their time can be spent supporting slimmers in need.
