The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers is the only bar organization in Dallas dedicated exclusively to the needs of young lawyers and the community service projects about which young lawyers feel most passionately.

Supported by a diverse membership of approximately 3,000 lawyers, the DAYL has two primary goals. One goal is improve the quality of life for all young lawyers through a variety of initiatives designed to educate, support, challenge, and entertain our members. A second, but equally important, goal is to serve the Dallas community through public service projects that young lawyers find meaningful. These projects take many forms, but all of them allow our members to select those community service opportunities that are most significant to them.

The DAYL is composed of young lawyers of all racial, ethnic, and gender backgrounds, as well as solo and small firm practitioners, large firm practitioners, in-house and government lawyers, and law students. By volunteering their time and talents to organize approximately 150 projects each year and contributing thousands of hours of volunteer time throughout the year, DAYL members make and benefit from countless contributions to their profession and their community.
