This is a new group dedicated to intactivists who work hard on-line or in real life to bring change and to stop the mutilation a.k.a circumcision of children (boys and girls). If you have any posts, threads, information that requires attention from fellow intacties, then please post here. We will work hard to pin posts that require immediate attention, and do so equitably, fairly. This includes petitions, statuses, pages posts, articles requiring comments, parents you know who are about to circumcise, etc. If there is something particularly urgent requiring immediate attention and maybe pinning to the top of the page, then please message the ADMINS.
This group will be "CLOSED" as opposed to secret or open. That means that others will be able to see the list of members, but not what is posted in the group. Please, do add all of your intactivist friends. Any member will be verified BEFORE being added to the group by the admins. We will do our utmost to make sure that only real intacitivists join our ranks. ♥
We'd like to add that while theoretically, infant circumcision *may* already be illegal, it is a big stretch, in our opinion, to think that any judge in North America would actually condemn anyone under existing legislation of any crime in the case of male child circumcision. We do believe intactivists should continue to work on all fronts, and that it is useful to appeal to parents to have empathy for their babies and not hurt them; that we should continue to work to have forced infant/ child circumcision explicitly outlawed, as female circumcision is; and that additionally, we can use the argument that "circumcision is already illegal"....
REGRET MOMS are welcome here. ANYONE BASHING ANY REGRET MOMS will be removed from the group. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE for attacking regret moms and dads. They need our support and love, dealing with their guilt and grief, not more pain.
This group is a DRAMA-FREE zone. Yes, we welcome posts for encouragement and support of each other. We do NOT welcome any banter, argument, name-calling, finger-pointing, fighting with other intactivists. That just detracts from the purpose of this group, which is to intactivate, not berate each other. Please try to treat everyone with respect, like you would like to be treated. ♥

Keep in mind that sometimes, young, fragile, intact men may feel the need to be circumcised, because they simply do not know better and` or feel peer pressure. Others, such as in Africa, are coerced/ bullied/ given incentives to have mutilated penises, and are misled into believing that circumcision is a cure or vaccine for AIDS.
