The aim is for a friendly respectful easy going place to grab a freebie.

3.Manners, they do not cost and using them correctly and freely goes a long way, show respect and common courtesy.
4. No abusive or offensive language at any time.
5.No animals , not even for re-homing, there are specific pages for animals.
6. Please think before asking for an item, do you really need it or could someone benefit more?
7.Could members who post please be clear on the location the item is to be picked up from.
8. Givers choice on who they give the item too pending on much interest:
9. No in boxing to request for items...only comment on the post (inboxing may put giver in awkward position and make them feel pressured)
10. NO REASONS on any posts to be given as to why you need the item unless the giver specifically asks for reasons. If reasons seen they will be deleted.
11. WANTED posts are allowed but please keep these simple. No story or explanation required. Posts with explanations will be removed without warning. (for example "im looking for household furniture for my new home" is fine but not "im looking for household furniture because I have nothing, im sleeping on the floor and nothing to sit on".
12. It is unfair for a number of family members or friends to all comment on the same post for more chance of winning the item. This will be monitored and will remove from the group as we see fit.
