TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Northwest Arkansas Yard Sale page was created to allow Facebook users an easy and fun place to post items they have for SALE or TRADE. It also allows person(s) to post WANTED items. Unfortunately, because of a few bad apples, I have had to come up with Terms and Conditions. Those things no one ever reads, but should. So here goes.
1) Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
2) Ways to make me angry:
a) Posting spam, advertisements, selling stolen items, anything icky. Yes, I used the word icky.
b) Selling drugs or paraphernalia. It's illegal right now, so don't do it.
c) Posting anything that will get my butt in a sling with Facebook. Refer to rule 1
3) If you honestly have to ask me if you can post it...you probably shouldn't.
4) This is an online YARD SALE. If you wouldn't sell it in your front yard, what makes you think I would let you sell it here???
a) I will allow advertisements for YOUR personal business on a case by case basis, and ONLY after you have asked if it is ok to post the link. Don't get offended if I say NO. I'm pretty sure it's not the only time that has ever been said.
6) ONLY post multiple pictures in an ALBUM please. This includes items such as clothing. You can add descriptions to each photo. Albums allow multiple pictures and removes clutter from the page. Add a description also, so everyone doesn't have to play the game "WTF is THAT?"
a)The Hokey Pokey really is what it is all about.
7) You can "BUMP" your item once every 24 hrs. Do it more than once in a 24 hr period without posting anything relevent about your item, and you will make me angry. Again, refer to #1
a) To bump an item up, put "bump" in the comments, it will move it to the top. 8) Where did #5 go???
9) It is up to the poster to put contact information and reply to those interested in their item(s). It is NOT the responsiblity of the creator (Not THE CREATOR), Admin, or Facebook, to resolve any problem.
10) Don't LOW BALL anyone in a public setting, make fun of an item or person, or be an annoying ass in any way.This also includes pointing out mistakes in posts or responding to comments in a way I see unfit. DO THIS S#!T in a private message if you want to be an ass. Do it in the public setting, and so help me, I will turn this car around right now and we will all go home!!!! I will also delete your snippy little comments from the public view, and then will delete YOU from the group if you do it again or have a problem with how I run the group.
a) And stop annoying your sister!!!
As long as everyone can play nice with each other, this page will continue. Violation of any of these terms will probably make me angry, and the consequences are not very good. Let me know if I should add anything to the terms or to report anyone violating them. SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE TO ME TO REPORT SOMEONE FOR VIOLATING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO IT IN THE PUBLIC SETTING, IT ONLY MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE AN ASS. REFER TO RULE 1.
