About MYF
Introduction...
The Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) is the agency charged with the development of the youth ministry of the Tamil Annual Conference (TAC), Methodist Church in Malaysia. It comes under the purview of the Youth Department led by the TAC Director of Youth Works.
The Agency itself consist of a conference level youth leadership, district level youth leadership and the local church leadership. Each level is headed by a President and an Executive Committee elected every year from among the youth members. Membership is open to any youth aged between 15 to 27 years and in sympathy with the Methodist Church in Malaysia.

The objectives of the MYF is as follows;
(a) Achieve a vital relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
(b) To grow in Christian character
(c) Render effective and joyous service to the Church and the society at large.
(d) Win others into the kingdom of God.

We of the Methodist Youth Fellowship answer God’s call to be a Christian community, a fellowship to worship and study, for service, alert and responsive to God’s action in his age and to love Jesus Christ to the end that

To get the most out of this group and grow stronger in your faith we have some ground rules for success. As our group grows larger, we desire to grow smaller and intentionally build new relationships through online and in person small groups across the country. As a member of this group you agree to:
1) Provide acceptance - This is an imperfect group for imperfect people in an imperfect church. So please don't expect us to be perfect because if you do we will let you down.
2) Actively participate: You can be shy, but know that your input matters so feel free to interact and join other discussions.
3) Show support: Differences of opinion are respected and dumb questions are encouraged.
4) Encourage Growth: Each member will ecnourage the other's spiritual growth and movement but rely upon God for change.
5) Welcome newcomers: This group will stay open to new people who would benefit from this group.
6) Pray: For the growth and impact of MYF TMC Ipoh, pray for increased faith and growth of the members and for any prayer requests shared.
