Welcome to the Gainesville/Haymarket Community Group. This is a great place to ask for referrals, general community related questions, notify neighbors of events and happenings in the community, etc.

2) No public shaming of an individual, this includes any identification of an individual (Name, address, any part of the license plate, etc.). If it's in the news, it's fair game.
3) Feel free to post your experiences with local businesses. I do ask that before you post something negative, please first speak with the business owner or manager to try and resolve your issue. Social media can be powerful and we should all be careful not to post something in haste. It could have real consequences to local businesses. Local businesses are very important to the community.
4) Please use the yard sale sites to sell your household items. Feel free to post your house, car or rental here. Tickets are also allowed to be posted. I will remove all other items without warning.
5) Try to limit "rants". Let's be constructive
6) No Posting ads/links to animals needing to be adopted. If someone requests information, by all means feel free to share with them. While I understand you have great intentions this group pertains to G/H. Random animals for adoption really has nothing to do with South Riding. If a resident needs to rehome a pet, feel free to post that here, but there's no selling of animals. By all means if you have a missing pet, or find a missing pet feel free to post it here.
