The DO’s: List item(s) for sale including price and location. List the condition of the item exactly. If using a PC, you must create a photo album titled as your name and location, to add photos to the page. If using a phone, you may upload a maximum of 5 photos daily. If you post “still available” (etc) on your own post/photo to get it “bumped to the top,” you may only do so once a day. You MUST delete your post and/or photo when the item is sold or received (this can be done from a PC or phone, if you do not know how or for some reason you can’t do it from your phone, PM an administrator). Posts not commented on by anyone other than the post creator, will be removed after 3 weeks. If you are having a meet up with a bunch of people, instead of long conversations about it, create an event. Show up when you say you will show up. Message an administrator when someone has stood you up or sold a faulty item (not when people aren’t following the rules on the wall, we will see that ourselves). Do promote your own yard sales, community yard sales, organization yard sales. Give dates, times and location (include directions when necessary). Think of personal safety whenever you are making a transaction. DO make sales and DO find great buys!
The DON’T’s: No selling of anything illegal. No posts that are not an item for sale or looking to purchase an item (ie: no conversations). No chit-chat on posts other than information about the sale. No arguing, name-calling, inappropriate posts or rude comments. No judging of what others are selling or buying. You don’t need it or want it; move along. No promotion of your business, beliefs or personal philosophies. No SPAM. No posting of pets for sale. No posting duplicate photos of the same item to get more views. DO NOT STAND PEOPLE UPDo not sell faulty items. Not all postings need a photo! List items and PRIVATE MESSAGE photos to interested individuals when possible. No person under the age of 18 can make a business transaction on this page. Do not comment on a post/photo unless you are interested in purchasing it or you are the originator of the post (specifically, friends or family helping to “bump” a post). Do not waste people’s time by meeting them only to “browse.” Make solid decisions or make sure the other party agrees with your intentions.
