Welcome to our group German Wirehaired Pointers – Australia.
We invite GWP’s, their owners and families, from all over Australia, here to share their personal GWP paraphernalia in all forms. Feel free to share training tips & tricks, Events in your area concerning GWP’s. Anything GWP related. Other dog breeds that are a part of your GWP family are most welcome here too! Don’t forget to introduce yourself to everyone when you join up.
Lastly we ask that you please take the time to familiarise yourself with our rules:
All backgrounds & discipline are welcome here, all we ask is that any “Hunting” type photos posted, only contain game that is legal, dispatched of in a legal and humane way, displayed in a manner of cleanliness (so no tongues hanging out, exuberant amounts of blood, or anything along these lines please)
Under no circumstances are litters of puppies or individual pups or dogs, for sale or free to good home to be advertised here! Anyone found to be promoting their backyard breeding will be instantly removed from the group. No exceptions.
If you are looking to purchase a puppy, feel free to contact admins and they can point you in the right direction of a suitable breeder. Again do not post that you are “Looking to buy a GWP” or anything along those lines

Common-sense & maturity often goes a long way. So please think before you act. We are all friends with a common interest in GWP. Not everyone will have the same tastes or views, but I expect everyone to have a level of respect when it comes those differences.
