So there was talk a while ago of starting a D&D group and I figured I'd head up the effort of getting things started. This is just a group to plan sessions, get news out to people and discuss anything related to the game.
Here are my plans so far - I'll be running the D&D 5e Starter Set adventure (Lost Mine of Phandelver) as the DM (Dungeon Master for the uninitiated). We'll be using the pre-generated characters that come with the adventure, but you'll be able to name them and decide their backstory (or go with the pre-gen one). There's a good mix of characters, something for every taste.
I have dice and miniatures for everyone.
New players are most definitely welcome and knowing the rules is not a requirement (I'll probably be referencing the rules as I go anyway).
Location is T.B.D. our place in Kamikumamoto might be a bit far for some so we'll figure something out.
I'm looking to have a steady group of 4-6 players each session, but I could accommodate more if necessary.
