The story of the discovery of the Holy Grail in the tomb of Jesus has been told ever since the 12th Century and as time passes each author retells the story in their own words adding new ideas generally about the times in which the author lives (e.g. light sabers in the 20th Century) and specifically about anyone connected to the Grail. Darth Vader is both Jesus and De Molay since De Molay was burned at the stake so Vader suffered the same injuries by the volcano. Previous Grail story characters did not have this fate prior to 14th Century when De Molay was executed.
Everyday this story is retold in various media, such as books and movies. Predator films are one of them. Fear the Dark is a newly released book and it retells the Grail story including other Grail stories that came before such as the Predator films where a character appears and disappears just like Jesus appears and disappears in the Gospel accounts.
