This group has been created to promote the Alaskan Malamute as a pure breed of dog for all interested parties, whether they be existing club members or new / prospective owners. It may primarily be used to promote AMCUK activities and events however as a club we encourage questions about the breed so that prospective owners can learn about the Malamute before deciding if it is the right dog for them, and so questions can be openly asked and advised on subjects such as health, behaviour, working, showing or simply owning Malamutes as a pet.
The group is not created for the purpose of general chat (there are more general groups and private chat for that purpose) and so it is requested that pictures posted are in demonstration of a point or question, not for general comments. No puppies, litters, stud dogs or bitches are to be advertised, and any posts seen to be detrimental to the breed or misleading or dangerous for new owners may be removed.
