SELLERS:
You may post as many items as you like, BUT you can only have TWO new Ads per day. This means you can post a few items in one ad then a few in a second ad - but no more than two separate ads per day. (If you have five items - put them in one ad - not five ads strug down the page in one day.) This keeps the feed unclogged with a bunch of ads from one person only.
You may bump your item every 3 days. This means type the word bump in the comment section of your photo and it will then be bumped to the top of the newsfeed instead of the bottom. Every 3 days. DO NOT BUMP ALL OF YOUR ADS IN ONE DAY - THIS CLOGS THE FEED WITH MOSTLY YOUR ADS AND NOT FAIR TO THE OTHERS. DON'T FORGET TO DELETE YOUR ITEM AS IT SELLS PLEASE.
BUYERS:
It is generally better to privately message a seller if you wish to purchase an item because this often alerts them to your inquiry better than just posting a comment under thier ad. When you make contact with the seller - make arrangements to meet for the sale. It is highly recommended to meet in a public place, but if the seller wants you to pick up at their home, this is at your own risk. Personally, if I do not feel comfortable going inside, I just ask that we do the sale on the porch or take a friend along with me, but I do so - at my own risk.
NO Low-ball offers; it is irritating to the seller and if this becomes a problem, you may be deleted from the group.
INSULTING/RUDE COMMENTS WILL RESULT IN GETTING BANNED.
REPEATED OFFERS TO BUY: DON'T OFFER TO BUY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY, TIME, INTENTION OF PROMPTLY MAKING A PURCHASE. Offering to purchase an item and not following through with viewing the item, may get you banned - THIS GROUP WANTS ONLY RELIABLE buyers/sellers - all else will be weeded from the group at the admins. discretion.
No spam or business adverts that do not pertain to vintage sales. Promotion of bazaars or estate sales, etc. are generally fine.
People who want to promote sales of outside vintage items are allowed in the correct format:
If you have an Etsy account for example, or a thrift store and want to promote that - follow these steps: Post an ad just as anyone else would with the photo of an actual item for sale, description of the item, location and price - THEN ADD your "check out my etsy store" link.
