Mission Statement
This is a group of Dobermann enthusiasts working and training with a common goal of training Dobermanns to achieve an IPO title, Schutzhund or Ring title. Collectively this group will discuss IPO training and Ring Sport training issues that are common to the breed and the best ways of over coming training issues that come up along the IPO and Ring journey. We promote breed surveys, temperament testing, and all health testing to protect the health and working heritage of the Dobermann. We want to promote good handling skills along with good working Dobermann lineage.
This group was not formed to promote any specific trainer nor any specific method. Each one of our dogs are different and in order for them to reach their potential, any method we use has to be tweaked to their specific personality. Remember, we are merely sharing in hopes that handlers can use the ideas presented to get the best results with their dogs. Our group has some outstanding trainers and breeders with a wealth of knowledge also as we have already seen, some of those that are more new to the sport also have great ideas.
We have one rule that we should all respect each other and each other's training methods.
