Our support group is intended to be a safe haven for members who need to talk about their personal issues, experiences, and/or struggles regarding the many facets of Huntington’s disease.
Please use this forum to give and receive emotional support, share your stories, your fears, your accomplishments or anything else that is on your mind. Huntington’s disease is a roller coaster ride both emotionally and physically. It is understandable that some days are better than others and comments/topics may reflect as much. Please try to remember that we can’t always detect a person’s tone in their writing and that offending others may not have been their intention. There is no censorship in this group so long as it is not directed in a malicious manner towards another member.
The goal of this group is not to stigmatize or make other members feel isolated because opinions differ. We accept people just the way they are and we avoid making judgments. We give supportive attention to the member who posted and do our best to avoid side conversations that take away from the original post.
