I initially set up this group for Fallbrook Girls because I get home sick and wonder about so many friends I'm missing.
Then just today a friend, Lillian, was banned from the FUHS FB Page by posting something to aid and assist a fellow Fallbrook friend. With the ol', " No good deed goes unpunished" thought, Lil and I decided, with the help of Larry Gonzales, to recreate this site and include all Fallbrook Family with the thought of what that old sign used to say as you entered town, 'Fallbrook the Friendly Village'. We have decided to build a stong community, be it in social media, for FRIENDS that we have lost tough with, regained contact and those still missing.
We can also foster a since of community by just being friendly and allowing this board to assist our friends in need of help or just a cyber shoulder to lean on. And as some of us age, it's important to have someone 'there' when we need to help or know who needs us.
So, we'll be changing the name of the board to Fallbrook Friendly Villagers and let the boys in...as long as they behave themselves :)
(As luck would have it, FB won't let us change the name group unless we delete it and start over. I guess we just keep the name and the boys can deal with it. LOL)
