Brandon Lowe is 17 years old and is a upcoming Senior this year at LaFayette High School., He is the son of Skip & Lisa Lowe, of LaFayette. Brandon has been diagnosed with osterserginic sercoma on June 15,2012. It is a form of bone cancer. He has a large tumor in his left arm/shoulder and he has 3 large masses in his lungs. He is undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Scottish Rite Children Aflac Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He will be undergoing chemotherapy treatments and multiple surgeries throughout the next two years. His surgeries will be performed at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA. . The doctors are pretty certain of amputation of his left arm and part of his shoulder just to make sure that the tumor is completyly removed. We don't want it to re-occur. We are praying for the best.
He will be homebound his senior year and will be in classrooms at Scottish Rite while hospitalized. He will be able to attend LaFayette High School depending on his strength and his immune system when he is home. A homebound teacher will come to his resident when he is unable to attend school. The staff at Scottish Rite will be taking care of necessary paperwork to get his classes and work delivered to him on time. So he will be able to graduate with his 2013 Senior Class. He will be attending college after graduation.
His doctors say his diagnosis is treatable and curable but its going to be a long and hard journey.
Brandon is a very strong young man who is determined to beat this. He is staying strong and having a positive attitude. His family & friends is determined to make his battle as comfortable and less stress as possible. He has received so many prayers by so many friends, family and has made new friends around the world. So grateful to each of you.
He has had the community pulling together and giving as much support as possible to help with the family as Brandon gets his treatments. His family is very appreciative to all who that has participated and contributed.

Please continue to pray for Brandon has he fights this horrible disease. GOD words miracles and the family is praying for one! GOD has a plan for Brandon...we don't know what it is. But we are sure its a good one.
