I thought to make this group of Jabalpur Engineering College batch mates, who were there with us from 1984 to 1989. Making of such a group is just to reminisce with old friends, to give us a chance to share some memories, and play our songs again.
Time endears but cannot fade the memories that friends have made. Fond memories bring the light of other days that were around us. Through such a group we may summon back to our mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us.
We may never forget the days we spent with each other. No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen our friendship as nothing is as comfortable as an old friend. We all took different paths in life, but no matter where we are, we take a little of each other everywhere.
May prove great news to all of you as we are already into Silver Jubilee year, 2014 is approaching nearer and it will be 25 years we left our college. Yeah, we will have a grand Reunion in 2014. And, that will be a great chance for us to meet each other in this middle age when many amongst us have become somewhat gray, wrinkled and bald that even we may struggle to recognize some. That will be so funny and I am sure will give loads of joy to be with each other. Please note that it is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.
Another reason for making of this group is just to reconnect with all batch mates and to create an interactive place for all of us. To start in advance may lead to a record gathering and that in turn will make our Reunion-2014 a big success.
