West Coast Chihuahua Lovers is an assembly of Chihuahua enthusiasts based in Perth, Western Australia.
Our group is for anyone who loves chihuahuas.
It is a social group, who operate outside of competitive circles. We welcome Chihuahua owners and their families, as well as non-pet owners who still admire the Chihuahua. Of course, we are open to pure and mix breeds too.
Group Rules- mandatory reading
1. Please make your posts relevant to chihuahuas and dogs in general, if you think a post could be better shared on your own wall, please leave it there.
2. In the interest of animal welfare, any posts promoting backyard breeding e.g.: looking for or offering stud dogs will be deleted. West Coast Chihuahua Lovers wants Oscar's Law!
3. No puppy trading whatsoever, offering puppies for sale is not OK, this includes Gumtree ads for back yard breeders- if you've joined the group looking to buy a chihuahua, our advice is: consider adopting a homeless chihuahua, there are lots on petrescue.com.au or for puppies we recommend dogzonline.com.au. Please don't support puppy farms by buying from pet shops. Any threads directing buyers to Gumtree, Facebook Pages or Pet Shops will be deleted. Alternatively- asking for puppies in the group is not allowed. All posts related to puppy trading will be deleted without warning, this is sadly due to some serious situations in the past.
4. Be nice- please be considerate when giving advice
5. This is a social group, any serious issues relating to animals should be directed to a professional.
6. This group has members of all ages and backgrounds, so please mind your P's and Q's.
