The vision of Global Brigades and our chapter is to provide a sustainable improvement to the lives of the less fortunate.
Our last trip in March 2013 was with the Public Health Brigade in Honduras where over the course of a week 13 students from UB embraced that vision and built sustainable health infrastructure projects for a three-generation family in the rural village of El Jute, drastically improving their lives. The experience was exceptional for all involved.
We are now in the preliminary stages of planning another Brigade with a different focus, this time to Ghana. There will be more details to come.
