Mission Statement:
Running is a delicate balance of passion, hard work, motivation, and a touch of crazy. Our mission through this 18 week process is to foster a love for running in each of our program’s participants. As we prepare for the Bayshore events, our goal, through hard work, is to build strong, fit, healthy, and passionate runners.

The Running Fit Bayshore In Training (RF B.I.T) team is an 18 week training program with the main focus being the Bayshore events on May 24th 2014. Runners who are running spring races other than Bayshore are welcome to participate in this group as well. Please communicate with your coaches if you are not training for Bayshore so the schedule can be modified for your race needs.

There are 5 levels of training for each race; newbie, beginner, intermediate, experienced, and competitive racer. Each individual participating in the group chooses their own training level based on what they feel is appropriate for their experience and fitness levels. If you are unsure as to which level to choose your coaches will help you make your decision based on the information given in your runner profile.

The group will be meeting Tuesday nights at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 8am. The locations of these meetings will be determined based on weather, road conditions and specificity of the workouts. The meeting place of these locations will be communicated to participants via email.

Each week you will receive an email addressing meeting locations and educational/running tip information. Please be sure to check your email daily for communication from your coaches.

Along with a comprehensive 18 week training program participants have full access to a wealth of knowledge and resources available at Running Fit and through the B.I.T. coaches and mentors.

The $180 cost of the program covers training materials, coaching fees, and various other program costs. The cost breaks down works out to only $10 a week! If you are a returning BIT member (2012 or 2013) class cost is $150.
