We only have a few simple rules that we ask everyone to follow.
1 - Be respectful and courteous to fellow members, we are all adults here. No rude language or drama will be tolerated. We want everyone to have a good time buying/selling.
2 - Only bump posts once every 24 hours, this allows everyone a chance for their items to be seen. No deleting bump comments to get around this. No bumping individual items, if your items are in a album or multi-picture post, bump the whole post.
3 - Business posts(i.e. work from home, weight loss, crafts/custom made things, anything that is not a personal sale) of any kind/advertising are not allowed unless they are posted in a document. Links to business pages CANNOT be posted unless they are in a document. This means links posted in comments, on pictures or photo albums shared from your business page are not okay. There are plenty of groups for advertising. (Links to other BST groups are okay)
4 - Remove posts once item is no longer available. (posts with no activity for 14 days will be deleted)
5 - Put details in the description of your item(must be on each photo), such as price, LOCAL location and condition. Don't add in comments. No make offer posts as these usually cause drama and unnecessary questions; most sellers have a price in mind already.
6 - No double posts. All the posts will be deleted. Instead, bump your original post once per day.
7 - It is up to the seller to decide between first come, first serve or going in order of interested buyers. But you must list first come, first serve in your post. Otherwise, you must go in order of interested buyers.
8 - Selling of WIC items is not allowed. No selling of recalled items, guns/ammo, replica items(it is illegal), age restricted items such as alcohol/tobacco. No pornography.
9 - Garage sale/Estate sale/etc posts are not allowed on the main page. They can be posted under the dedicated Garage Sale post. No pictures from garage sales are allowed.
10 - Any kind of fundraisers are not allowed on the main page. Fundraisers can be posted under the dedicated Fundraiser post.
11 - All ISO(in search of) posts are not allowed on the main page. They can be posted under the dedicated ISO post.
Posts will be deleted with no notice if in violation.
