Joel was born in Vernon, B.C. on November 9th 1986 and resided there his entire life. An untimely industrial accident claimed his life on January 24th, 2006. Joel's life was full of adventure, happiness and he was always surrounded by family and friends. He will always be remembered for his smile, which was always evident, his fun and fearless "go get 'em" attitude and his genuine happiness. We all loved having Joel near us for he would lift our spirits. Joel will be sadly and deeply missed by all of us and we have all become stronger people having Joel as part of our lives. Joel will be looking over us, making sure that we all live our lives to our fullest potential so, when you need a smile......just look up - Joel will be smiling at you.
Joel did alot of fun activities which included moto-x, his passion. He helped me, Jason, Joel's cousin, realize that I had to stop my ways and change for good which is what i did when he died. I took a vow to stop lying, cheating, and scamming and he seemed to have the fun life and joys of living in the Okanagan, even tho I only saw him once a year I always looked up to him. I made this group to show Joel, and my family that many people care for Joel and if you were his friend, or anyone who knew him join this group.
