Hello and welcome to the West end Coal Township Community and Watch.
This page has no affiliation with the police department. If you see something suspicious call the police. The more eyes looking for suspicious behavior will help determine what is relevant. The main goal of this group will be to serve as eyes and ears looking for suspicious behavior in the community but in addition this page may function as a place for people to share any item of sufficient local interest. A notice of a lost animal, an offer of some free items for local pickup, or a sale listing for something which is hard to move and may therefore be of more value to locals such as a swing set, swimming pool, or a home itself, are good examples of posts I hope can remain relevant without taking away from the main purpose of this page. I do not want to categorically ban any specific behavior. For now I will leave it to common sense to dictate what material is of sufficient interest to end up on every members timeline. I hope we can have a civil discussion as to what posts are relevant. No one cares about your 5ft snow pile when we all have our own. If you see people in this group who should be watched, and not be watching the watchers, PM me. I will not delete anyone on just anyone's say so but I will also try not to let people who obviously do not need to be in here to see what is being said either. A security system is not very effective if everyone you can not trust knows where the cameras are, and are not, if you know what I mean.
