About Us
The International Christian Fellowship – Enschede (ICF-E), The Netherlands is an inter-denominational Christian community of all possible churches (e.g. Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Evangelical, Pentecostal), primarily for foreign students. It provides a temporary place of worship with English language during your stay in Enschede, aims to offer support and foster brotherhood among Christians from every background, and extends a warm welcome to all visitors.
Besides the ecumenical Sunday services, it also conducts other activities. We welcome students from all schools (University Twente, Saxion, ITC, ArtEZ), as well as non-students, from all denominations.
In the Fellowship you will certainly meet Christian students from all over the world, of all possible denominations and Christian traditions. The Fellowship recognizes the great variety in background, but seeks to find a common basis for its Sunday service and other activities. Christians have so much common in the Lord, on which true fellowship can be built! Despite your study in a foreign country: “You are (still) home” with your Christian brothers and sisters!
The ICF-E has a very practical side to it as well. Being far from home and family is not easy. Through the fellowship of Christian brothers and sisters we want to reach out to one another with the love of Christ, supporting each other in word, deed and prayer. As we hope that you will feel at home in your temporary Dutch lodging, we do hope as well that you will find yourself at home within the ICF-E. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to all who want to come and taste this fellowship.
