GROUP RULES: The #1 concern here is the welfare of the critically endangered Newfoundland pony. These rules are to ensure that.
1. This page is for the Newfoundland Pony Breed ONLY. Nfld crosses are OK but that must be stated and with reasonable proof.
2. Post or share ads For Sale, Free, Adoptable, Urgent situations, Wanted, Stud service, pony transport. Include Pony's information such as registration status, name, general location, parentage, sex, age, training, size. temperament. Pictures are important.

3. Group Membership is a privilege, NOT a right. This is a critically endangered breed; we take no chances. Owner/admins of this page may at any time refuse or remove a member, all in the best interest of the pony. No explanation is required. Trolls, troublemakers (even on other pages), drama, criticism, rudeness, dishonesty is unacceptable. Remarks and/or person will be removed. Dealers, Agents, people acting for or buying for other people must state up front or will be banned if we hear otherwise. Members aware of anyone acting in any manner that goes against the rules, threatens to compromise the welfare of the pony, please report to owners/admins immediately.
5. Buyers and Sellers - exercise CAVEAT EMPTOR, i.e. buyer and seller beware. Sellers - carefully check potential homes, references. Use contracts and please follow-up on your pony after they are placed! Know who is actually buying your pony and where they are going. Buyers - be sure you also know what you are purchasing. If you have questions about the breed, the group is often very happy to answer.
