This is a local (East Troy) volunteer network of riders and drivers with the purpose of providing our friends with a safe transportation option, we are not a commercial or for profit effort. Only accepted members can see, send or reply to our posts, all of our member/friends are approved by an ETDC administrator.
Our rules of the road: As with any car pooling activity, it is customary to share in the expenses incurred in the ride...the standard contribution is considered to be $10 per rider, cash paid at time of pick up.
Please keep ride requests/posts simple...the rider request should clearly state the pick up point and time, destination (one way), number of riders and dollar amount you'll pay the driver, it is then up to volunteer driver(s) to accept or not reply...the first driver to accept your request becomes your driver, all requests for a ride and driver responses are openly posted here with our members.
All members agree this is a volunteer "car pooling" activity, all drivers acknowledge they have current valid passenger liability insurance, are at least 21 yrs old, and will be sober at time rides are given. Riders agree to be respectful of the driver and their vehicle at all times, and will pay cash at time of pick up, and agree to hold the driver harmless for any personal injury incurred during the ride requested.
We ask that you carry the utmost respect of the driver, their time, and vehicle...any breach of our rules will be reported and offenders will banned by this group.
Rules and Guidelines are subject to be changed and updated by administrators at any given time as they see fit.
