This group is for anyone who is residing in South Korea and interested in golf. Playing golf in Korea is outrageously expensive but there are cheaper alternatives. Screen golf businesses are everywhere in this country; it's great fun and costs around W20,000 per person for 18 holes - making a booking is advised, allow around 1 hour per player. There are a number of Par 3 courses around the country and we play 3 or 4 of them in the Chungbuk province regularly; cost W25,000 - W40,000 per player for 18 holes - it helps if you have a car or know someone who does. As I mentioned before, full golf courses are not cheap in Korea, expect to pay up to W300,000 per game (caddy and cart hire is usually mandatory) and most golf clubs have strict dress regulations - pants, collared golf shirt, belt, cap, shoes. Fees are usually discounted on weekdays and we have found a few cheaper courses in our area - when I say cheaper I mean W80,000 - W130,000 all inclusive per game.
