This group is simply an effort to provide a platform for development of relationships between M.Div students with a pastoral focus. The hope it that members would begin investing into their "emotional intelligence" early on in their pastoral walk.
A note on some ideas I had for what we could use this group for. I was imagining we could use this as a place to post info about possible study sessions (finals are coming up!), funny pictures about pastors or seminarians, and where we could see who’s going to various events in case we want to carpool or something. Please also feel free to post prayer requests and thoughts you would like others to give you feedback on. Anything else would be cool too…these are just a few ideas to get us started.
This group is open to all students who have a heart for pastoral ministry, so if you know someone who is doing an MAR and wants to be a pastor...feel free to invite them. This time in seminary is a very unique time. You will probably never be around so many like minded men who love the church as much as you do. My hope is that we inspire and encourage one another throughout our time in seminary and build lifelong relationships for His namesake and the love of His bride – the Church! So if you have a minute, it’d be awesome if you introduced yourself briefly for the people to get to know you or know you better.
