This is a group created by myself Liam Carr and two very good friends of mine, Jamie Starkey and Simon Tomlinson who all share a common interest in the importance and significance of psychedelics and their effects on our consciousness and overall well being.
Our purpose of creating this page is first and foremost not to impose any of our personal beliefs but rather share and discuss our own information, experiences and research with like minded people who are interested in this particular field.
We are hoping that by creating this group we can share stories about each other's transcendental experiences, spread reliable information and ideas on a topic that is fraught with misinformation and controversy.
Oppose the dogma, elitism, and pseudo-science that often plague discussions about psychedelics.
There is a rich and varied history of humans seeking altered states of consciousness. From shamans in the Amazon, the psychedelic revival of the 60s into the present day. New studies into previously demonised substances are starting all over the world. Can we find new approaches and learn from this rich shamanic tradition? Nobody has a monopoly on the “correct” way to approach the psychedelic experience, but no doubt there is much to be learned both about and from the psychedelic experience.
