6. You take open items at your own risk
7. The first person to comment on an item is the person it goes to and then follows to the next person if they pass or don't pick up. UNLESS clearly stated at the time of the posting that they would give it to the person who can pick up first.
8. All posts over 30 days old will be removed so we can keep current items easy to access
9. Please mention the approximate location where the items are in the city. However, please keep personal information to Private messages only. This includes exact addresses and phone numbers.
10. No links to other websites or groups. If you have a group on Facebook or a free event that you wish to advertise, please contact an admin with all the information and the link and we will assess whether or not it will be put on the group wall.
11. No mentioning where the can BUY said item. They are on a FREE site for a reason.
12. Please let others know that your item(s) is spoken for by writing PPU(Pending Pick Up) in the comments with the date and time that it is to be picked up and then remove your item once claimed
13. Only post things that you have in your possession. Do not comment that an item can be found at Walmart or Dollarama etc. If you have info like that, keep it in Private Messages only.
14. No charity cases please. If you need
assistance for you and/or your family please seek help from organizations set up to help with those needs.
15. No shows can be reported to admin. A no show is someone who does not call, text, PM, email or otherwise contact you to let you know that they are unable to make it at the scheduled time for pick up. If they contacted you, they are not a "no show". If you are a no show 3 times, you will be removed from the group. Let's be respectful of other people's time.
