We provide advice and get information to owners of the breed and try to help where we can in difficult situations.
This may be because owners are unaware of the needs of this particular breed and we can provide them with knowledge so that they can enjoy a happy and wonderful relationship with their dog.

There's been a few dogs appearing on this group recently that have not been assessed by NSBTR, which is fine but there are just a few simple rules I wish to be followed if a dog is posted here from a 3rd party..
1) ask permission from any admin
2) Please ensure you actually have care and control of the dog that you are promoting for a new home and give your own contact details for the Rescue you work for as our insurance wont cover you if it does go wrong
if these simple requirements are met we seldom refuse to assist any other Rescue, but wish to discourage those that may seek to use as a free ad or those that just go looking to help..but wouldnt want the dog themselves..if the latter case, and i know well meaning , just ask the keeper or sanctuary to pm myself , Anna or Andrea directly with details....as i said we rarely will turn down a request from another rescue, in fact never known it happen yet !
