This group aims to bring together everyone and anyone who wants to either adopt or put an animal for adoption in Bangalore. You'll find posts by CUPA’s staff as we often look for homes for the rescued animals at our shelter and you'll see adoption posts by other compassionate people who are willing to open their hearts and homes to a homeless animal.
We also welcome discussions and debate about other animal welfare related issues. Also, you can report any animal cruelty cases you come across, we will try to help you find a solution.
However, there are certain things that you must avoid.
- When uploading a photo of pets please don't cross post a link directly from a website or another group or from your profile, would request you to please create an Album in the group and then share the pictures with the necessary details.
- To share any photo or albums please click on the picture and then use the option to share.
- This place belongs to those who care for homeless animals and want to give them a better life. Please don’t put any post or messages from other groups which are not related to animals or to the work that CUPA does.
- If you've any issues or complaints with any organizations or individuals please write to the concerned Authorities directly.
- PLEASE DON’T POST ANYTHING RELATED TO SELLING OF PETS.
- This is definitely not the platform to advertise or promote your page or blogs.
- Please remember that CUPA is based in Bangalore and we will surely help you with a list of organizations in your area. There are other active groups on Facebook that would cater to your area. Please ask us for a list if you want to but don't use this space to post adoption queries from outside of Bangalore.
- Please don't use this group to look for breeding partners for your pets. There are many homeless animals who suffer on the streets or are abandoned in shelters because there not enough homes from them. Please consider adopting them!
- Requesting members to discuss about medical conditions of pets with veterinarians only, cos they are the ones who are well qualified to give you the best suggestions and solutions.
