Oasis Community Garden developed by Junior League of Ogden is a project intended to assist residents of the Central Ogden corridor in their quest to overcome financial challenges and break down cultural barriers. Additionally our goal is to create an environment where residents can acquire knowledge and skill to obtain fresh food for their families.
The Oasis plan is to develop an inviting outdoor space that serves our community by creating opportunities for activities that promote interaction amoung citizens of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds as well as to create an open space where neighbors can congregate and feel safe. The general design of Oass includes open space, teaching gardens, community garden plots and a gathering area for group functions.
