This is a local group selling items similar to Craigslist, Etsy, eBay, and Freecycle. This is a CLOSED GROUP, consisting only of friends of friends. Everyone here knows someone else here. We made it closed because Craigslist can be scary, and we wanted a group where members would feel as safe as possible.
This group is primarily for those who live or work in the South Bay. The South Bay includes: the Beach Cities (Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo), cities in the Palos Verdes Peninsula, Rolling Hills, Harbor City, Harbor Gateway, Wilmington, Lomita, Torrance, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Gardena and Carson.
We do run a tight ship but we are always here to help and we like to think having rules makes a cleaner page...it's not because we are control freaks (but because we care), we want everyone to be able to sell and buy in the best format possible - no one wants to scroll through tons of repeated or deleted items - having everyone put their items in albums makes it cleaner and easier for everyone to find.
