▀ Explaining College Credit Hours:
A credit hour is how many hours you are physically in class (per week). To be considered a full time student you have to be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours, but you can enroll in many more.
▀ How would that work in the Summer:
Summer semesters are shorter (8 weeks rather than the standard 16 weeks). So to be full time during the summer, you only need 6 hours rather than 12.
Most college classes are 3 credit hours each. Occasionally you will have courses that are more or less.

Summer semester might be every day, it might not. It just depends on what you enroll in and how the school sets up their summer semesters.
