This is a group that was formed and brought together because of "Sir," a Bearded Collie who went missing in South Dakota several years ago in the fall of 2010.
Because of Sir and our quest to find him, many wanted a place on FB to gather and light candles for his safe return. Sir was never found by searchers but we feel sure he is safe with a family somewhere. He brought many here to become fast friends.
Soon people started gathering here not only to talk about Sir and other missing pets, but to use the links to the Gratefulness.org candle site to pray and send White Light.
As things evolved and other needs became apparent, like sick pets and friends, we added another candle link. "Sir" is for pets and "Arack" is for pets and people. Arack was started originally for Angela Rackstraw, our beloved South Africa friend, who was battling a life and death battle over cancer. She also has a Beardie with autoimmune disease. Both are doing well now.
