Hello, I am Meaghen, the group Administrator, along with Cassie Foster Doty , Johnny B Good and Leeah Kimble Carden. This group is for Cumberland Maryland and close surrounding areas that have **FREE* pets for good homes.( *FREE* being the key word) There is no limit on listings or animals. Any and All is welcome from cats & dogs to lizards and turtles. This group is Not for the SALE of animals. This is NOT a yard sale group so please do NOT list anything that is not a Pet or Pet Related! If I find listings that are not for this group I will remove your post and ban you from the group. **PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE** Do research on the people who want an animal from you!! Don't let your precious animal fall victim to some sick person who wants to abuse them!! Friend them, ask for photos, visit, get all there information (Names, address' and phone numbers).... do what ever to keep them safe and make sure they made it to a loving home. I cant stress this enough!! Pets are NOT "JUST PETS" they are Family Members and deserve nothing less then the BEST!
Also, if you feel that someone if "off" when asking for one of your pets please MESSAGE ME ASAP and I will research them myself! I WILL NOT TOLERATE SOMEONE WHO ABUSES ANIMALS OR HAS MALICIOUS INTENT FOR ANIMALS IN ANY WAY! And if needed they will be turned over to the proper authorities and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!
