Welcome to our Group, the IPSC was set up for those who wished to makes new friends through Photography. Maybe you're local, or maybe you're an ex pat living in Chennai with a photography passion, or you may wish to just experience India through the lens with like minded people & meet new friends, it's not easy moving to a new country so the IPSC offers you a great opportunity not just meet people but to explore the areas.
All levels welcome. You do not need any flash equipment or experience, all levels are welcome, whatever you have is perfect, be it an iPhone or a professional camera, our motto is fun fun fun ...
Get to know the areas, learn about the things & places you are photographing & meet new friends. You’ll have the chance to brush up on your skills with guidance from a host of other budding snapper & remember It doesn’t matter if you’ve got an SLR, compact or even a phone camera – it’s all about exploring & fun!
We also host classes for those who wish to take their photography to the next level. Our events page will be updated as & when an event is to take place.
The IPSC meet on a regular basis, all events & meetings are posted on our page here. We at the IPSC encourage you to organise an event yourself, We encourage you to post your photos of the day and share your wonderful experiences with other members.

Group rules, Sorry, we really did want to avoid this but here it is:
* We encourage active members to join photo-walks/treks and participate on the group page, comment on each others photos & post photos
* No promoting of any business to group members on the group or on group Photo-walks Members doing so will be excluded from the group
* Photos taken on the photo walks are allowed as are other photos you have taken in India as long as they do not promote any form of business activities. You are also welcome to post your own holiday snaps
* Any watermarks should be of your good name and not that of a business or an abbreviation of a business or any mention of you as a photographer or the word click, studio or photography etc, just your name.
* Friendly & respectful chat at all times please
* Any persons found breaching any of the above will be removed from the group. None active member who has not joined a walk/trek for a period of 3 mths maybe deleted after discussion.
* Professionals are welcome to join the group, please remember group rules, it is not a place to market & sell, we encourage all with experience to help and give advice to others who ask without financial gain as this is a free group
The rules are clear, your photos will be deleted without warning. It is up to you to know and understand these basic rules. Should there then be a continuing breach of group posting rules you will be automatically deleted from the group. Sorry everyone but this group was set up for everyone and not as a promotional page.
