This group is an Ithaca local spin-off of the Mama's Comfort Camp group.
Our goal is to provide a local support structure for moms, one that can combine the ease of asking of an online forum with the opportunities to help each other in real life.
This group can dream up various ways to meet our needs, and sow the seeds for an active community structure dedicated to supporting mothers and families.
Please keep all emotional sharing posts like vents, stomps, rants and yays in the main (international) Mama's Comfort Camp group, and use this space for the local "In Real Life" aspects of our group, for requests for help as well as event planning etc.
Please avoid sharing links to businesses and commercial resources.
Community event sharing guidelines:
You are welcome to share free community events as long as those are not events that promote a business or a service.
The only paid or promotional events that are allowed in the group are ones that are offered by organizations that support the Mama's Comfort Camp by participating in our Beloved Backers program.
Occasionally, Yael will approuve paid or promotional events offered by local non-profit organizations that are not Camp Backers, but all such mentions should be approved by Yael prior to posting in the group's space.
