PLEASE READ: The Nebraska Photographers Network is a closed group for photographers residing in, originally from,
and those residing in states near Nebraska. Anyone who loves photography, from the newbie to the professional
is welcome! In this group we share all styles of photography, including processing and editing techniques, as
well as tutorials.
The mission of the NPN site is to bring together and help existing or aspiring photographers/artists
become better. We accomplish this by creating an environment where people of all skill levels can post their
images (whether from cell phone photography or high-end DSLR cameras) and receive honest constructive
criticism and feedback on how to become better. We encourage those who have more experience to share their
knowledge of photography in a positive and educational manner.
Please note that when you post an image to NPN, you are automatically inviting constructive criticism to be
given on that image. We encourage constructive criticism and positive commentary on all posts.
If you are providing constructive criticism on someone's image, please do so in a respectful manner by offering
what you like about the image as well as what you don't. If you are offering comments about what you don't like,
please also take the opportunity to teach the individual how they can make it a better picture
by offering tips or by providing links to a tutorial or video that highlight the nature of your constructive
criticism.
Comments such as "I hate HDR" or anything similar in nature are not allowed. Anyone making critical comments
in a rude or disrespectful manner will be given a warning by a site administrator. If after one warning someone
continues to be rude and disrespectful in their criticism of images, that person will be removed from the
group.
Please note, all work posted to this site will be original works of the photographer posting. If it is
not an original work it will be credited by the poster to the original artist/photographer. If it is
found people are posting and claiming work that is not their own, they will be banned from this group,
and the owner of the original photo Will be notified.
