This group is designed to lower costs for people traveling in between Chiang Mai and Mae Sot. The recent cancellation of Nok Air's flights between Chiang Mai and Mae Sot-- along with inconvenient and infrequent bus service-- has caused great inconvenience for people who travel in between these two cities.

If you are planning to drive in between CM-MS and have extra room in your vehicle feel free to post the approximate time you're planning to depart and the number of extra seats remaining in your vehicle. Similarly, if you need a ride you can post the approximate time you need to depart.

When I developed the idea for this group with my ride-share partner, we simply split the cost of gasoline at the end of the trip. However, users of this group should feel free to create any cost-sharing arrangement you want, provided that this group is not used for commercial purposes.
