Before you read the rest about the group, FB doesn't allow you to give any information when you "join this group", so the only way we have to take a look is to check out your FB page and look for info on poodles or pictures of poodles. If there are none, it probably will go into the "ignore" box. If you have a friend in the group, go ahead and join the group, and then ask your friend to send the manager an introduction - it will get processed much more quickly!
So here's who we are!
We are a group of standard poodle owners who simply think this is the best breed there is! Some of us show, some of us do obedience, agility, field trials. Some of us have service dogs, therapy dogs. Some of us breed. But ALL of us adore these dogs, first and foremost, as our beloved pets and members of our families. We ONLY play nice here on SPW, and we are here to listen to, support and respect each other and our dogs. Come and visit and see if you might like it here - - - we just have fun!
We are a small group, and want all of our members to be active, contributing members. If you are not already owned by a standard poodle, and do not have fairly immediate plans to add a standard to your family, we encourage you instead to reapply when the arrival of your standard is imminent! Then, you can jump in with both feet and join the fun!
