My personal story: I found it quite hard and embarrassing to put out a personal request for a babysitter on a local Stuttgart site. I don't live on a military base, I just moved to Germany (2012), have no family close by and who do I call if I want a date night w/my hubby or want to travel alone with my kids?
After this post, I noticed I am not the only one in tire need of a sitter or "holiday nanny". Thus, I came up with the idea to create Stuttgart Kinder Relief. An easy, up-to-date list of available sitters, families willing to kid swap and the fabulous group of ladies who are "holiday nannies".

We provide information and tools to help care seekers and care providers connect and make informed decisions.
