Sunland-Tujunga Independent is a local magazine for Sunland-Tujunga. ST has a rich history and lots of interesting people, places, scenery and happenings. Please feel free to post local interesting things happening, or happened, news, pictures, stories, etc. If you're not sure please send me a PM. Anything effecting this area is news. Local retailers (not real estate) are welcome to post an advert about their shop but please only one per week. We hope to post articles, stories and lots of fun things with a few ads to help our local retailers. Sunland, Shadow Hills, Tujunga, Lake View Terrace and La Crescenta are local. Posting sales or upcoming events please be sure to post date and time, as well as location. After the date has passed all calendar type events will be removed. Weather posts will be removed and updated unless admin sees a lot of comments and will leave it so the comments can continue or be referred to at a later date. Likewise Lost and Found pet ads, classified ads will be removed after seven days. They can be reposted if there is still a need.
Sunland-Tujunga once was a separate city from Los Angeles. We can be again. Inspired by the youtube of Sandy Springs, GA and how they became a separate and flourishing city can be done in Sunland-Tujunga. Maybe not tomorrow but we're planting the seed and helping it grow. Our own little e-magazine is a seed planted.

2. No politics, no religion save only wishes for happy celebrations. By politics is meant National, International, political party issues or topics, not local issues. Local issues are not politics in the sense we are identifying. It is recognized that even local issues can be controversial so in those topics we ask that you respect each other and keep it on topic and not engage in any kind of
personal criticism.
3. Inappropriate posts will be removed and blocking admin results in immediate removal. The task that plagues many sites is the necessary adjudication of when a post is inappropriate and why.
4. While we all have our special talents it is a new opportunity to VOTE for your friends and family on-line. While we support you wholeheartedly we also know that too many such requests take over the page so we are not permitting those at this time.
5. Fake IDs: Allowed if not creating antagonism & drama. It helps when they've got some mutual friends but not a criteria. Just looking to keep the pot stirring minority off the page!
