The purpose of this group is to allow everyone to put their items up for auction, including furniture, household items, collectibles, antiques, vehicles, etc. It is supposed to be fun, so let's make sure we keep it that way!
Auctions will run every Wednesday from 5-9pm Mountain time and Saturday from 10am-9pm. Wednesday auctions are $1 auctions, where every item must start at $1.
You can start your auction anytime during those hours, but ALL auctions will end at 9:00pm (see below for more details). Items can even be posted prior to the start of the auction, but they won't show up until the auction opens.
Nothing illegal or obscene. All sales must comply with all local, state, federal laws. No pets, porn, alcohol or tobacco sales. Firearms and knives are ok, but sales must follow applicable laws.
No business ads/listings without Admin approval.
Only one item/lot per auction post. If you have multiple items, please separate them into separate posts. Max of 15 items.
Bid increments must be at least $1.00.
Be nice and respectful or you will be booted. Vulgar, offensive language, or negative comments about another member will not be tolerated.
Posts may only be bumped once on Wednesday auctions and twice on Saturday auctions.
Payment and delivery of item(s) are to be determined between buyer and seller, but only bid on an item if you fully intend to buy it and pay for it. Deadbeat bidders/sellers will be removed from the group. Auction items should be paid for and picked up within 2 days of auction close, unless otherwise agreed upon by seller and buyer.
Bids cannot be retracted or changed without permission of seller and/or Admin. Doing so will cause you to be removed from the group.
Once an item has bids on it, the item cannot be removed from the auction without an Admin's approval.
Reserve prices are not allowed.
All auctions close at 9:00pm, or 5 minutes after last bid, whichever is later. For example, if someone bids at 8:58pm, the auction will be extended 5 minutes to 9:03pm. If a bid is not received before 9:03pm, the auction will end. If another bid is received at 9:01pm, then the auction will be extended to 9:06pm. The purpose of this extension is to limit “sniping” and allow all bidders an opportunity to raise their bid if they are outbid at the last moment.
Bids must be placed before the auction close time, according to Facebook’s time stamp. For example, if an auction is scheduled to close at 9:00pm, bids must be made by 8:59pm to be valid. Once the clock strikes 9:00pm, the auction is over (unless auto-extended). Once the clock strikes the “closing time”, the auction is closed and all bids are final.
